An experienced investment professional, Amin Andy Lakha is CEO and principal of Lakha Investments in Washington State. A recreational traveler, Amin Andy Lakha has spent significant time in a number of different cities across the world. One of his favorite destinations remains London. Visitors in London can spend days taking in famous monuments and museums, but individuals should dedicate some time to getting off the beaten path and experiencing the true culture of the city.

For example, Unseen Tours is a project launched by a London charity that helps homeless populations. The program hires individuals who are homeless to provide tours of the hidden sides of the city. Many different tours are available, including one that explores street art throughout London.

Another unique experience is Trinity Buoy Wharf, which is very close to the O2 Arena. This container city has become an artist haven and houses the smallest museum in London. Individuals can also see the one and only lighthouse in the city at the wharf.

Visitors may want to make time for the Guildhall Art Gallery, which is free. In addition to housing the City of London’s art collection, dating from the 1600s to present, the gallery sits atop a Roman amphitheater that was discovered under the gallery in 1998. Today, the remains of the amphitheater have become an interesting and protected monument.
